About Me
Hello! I'm Dr. Daniel Ibarrondo. I am passionate about higher education, especially supporting underrepresented, marginalized, and first-generation college students.
With executive roles at colleges in New York, Florida, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico, I have a strong record in higher education leadership, developing academic programs, mentoring, and securing funding for student success initiatives. I've also created new revenue streams, managed teams, and built public and private sector relationships.
It is imperative that in today’s changing and pivotal landscape for higher education, faculty need to be prepared to meet and teach each and every student as they arrive in the classroom. Everyone in college can learn. Sometimes the question is not whether the student is “college ready” but whether the college is “student ready.
